POOL PROCESS
Step 1: Design/Engineering
We offer plans in either 2D or 3D. Our 3D pool software lets you “walk” through your backyard and “swim” in your pool before even breaking ground. Once you approve the design an engineering plan is created and submitted to municipalities. Once the plan is approved and permits received we are ready to start the construction.
Step 2: Layout
The crew places stakes on your property following the layout of the pool with extra room for the decking.
Step 3: Excavation
Next, excavation equipment is brought in to efficiently prepare the location where we will build the pool.
Step 4: Plumbing and Electrical
This is the plumbing and electrical stage is an essential step in the construction of a pool. At this stage, our trained plumbers will install the central drain system, the circulation system, and the skimmer. The design of your pool determines how much plumbing needs to be done.
All flowing systems such as sheer descent, deck jets, and therapy jets get installed at this point. Plumbing ensures there is a good and efficient circulation system.
Step 5: Steel Reinforcement
Our technicians install steel reinforcement bars to support the excavation site. A lot of steel is added to the deep end to ensure the pool is firm and supported.
Step 6: Shotcrete
In this stage, special equipment is used to blow shotcrete mix around the steel forms. This stage can take a few days to ensure the shotcrete is fully cured.
Step 7: Tile and Decking
Depending on the design you created with our consultant, the tile and deck work can take about a week to complete. Your pool consultant will advise you regarding the availability of materials and may offer options to avoid delay in pool completion time.
Step 8: Interior Finish
This is the final stage before water is put in the pool. Our exceptional craftsmen use trowels for kneading the concrete applied on the floor and walls to make sure it is level and meets the design required. It can take approximately three days, depending on the size and design of your pool.
Step 9: Clean-Up
The crew will remove any construction materials and level the ground around the pool.
Step 10: Swimming Pool Start-Up
By this time, your pool is complete and ready for use. First, our technicians will test the swimming pool to confirm that it is functioning as needed. The technician checks all the equipment to see if it is operating correctly before use.
The technician then begins cleaning the pool thoroughly before adding chlorine to balance the water. Only a qualified and experienced technician can know the correct amount of chemicals to add to your start up pool water. Luckily, our technicians are very good at this. It will take a few days before your pool appears blue or before you can dive in.
LANDSCAPING
Now that your pool is complete, we take a few days to work on the landscape and the surrounding areas. We want you to have a unique and beautiful pool that you can enjoy with family and friends. This process may take one week, after which you are free to use your pool as you wish.
