Here are a few of the most common water features that you can add to your poolscape:
Waterfalls: These are built using either real boulders or faux rocks to give your outdoor area a natural look of water.
Fountains: There are several design styles of fountains.
Water Walls: A raised backdrop for your pool, generally covered in tile with water features.
Sheer Descent: A thin horizontal sheet of cascading water that pours out of a wall on any side of the pool. Lighting can also be added to accentuate the beauty of these relaxing features.

Sun Shelf or Tanning Ledge: A Sun Shelf or Tanning Ledge is a flat ledge typically located at the entrance of the pool. This tanning ledge is the perfect location for a lounge chair for the Arizona sun-worshiper. These shelves often have bubblers to make wading more enjoyable.
